I can’t EVEN Mason you are by far the funniest AND the most serious all at the same time!!
I saw this on your story and just had to ask your mom for the video and this is her story behind it!
“And the funniest part was that I was running errands and he called me and said he wanted to make a video about a blob fish and was going to dress in all pink and asked if I had something pink to wear in his head?!
So I said “no but I’m sure you could figure something out that’s pink” and I came home to that face taped on the hat 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣”
Be sure to go to Mason’s youtube channel Masons Quest for the video that he made Interview with Blob Fish and be sure to hit SUBSCRIBE!

-celebrating something ,that is cause for celebration, for something that happened but never should have. We honor and celebrate the end of slavery in the United States.
That was a beginning but we still have a long way to go...

We’re attempting our break out of Instagram jail with a #didyouknow Tuesday post 💪
Did you know that not formatting your resume correctly can make it 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 difficult for us to understand your experience?
Especially in the TV world (➡️ swipe for an example).
We are able to assess and gage your level of experience through terms that we use to measure how big or small or role is.
Terms like “co-star, guest star, series regular and recurring” all let us know the size of the role and will more accurately depict your experience in TV.
Listing your character name, like “Brad”, for example, doesn’t tell us whether you had 1-line or whether you recurred for multiple seasons.
Make sure you’re formatting your resume correctly so we can have a proper understanding of the types of roles you’ve booked and have experience with.

Talent to manager:
“I don’t get it! I thought I had a great audition!”
Manager to talent: “You did! Casting raved about you, said you were very talented and you gave them a great read, and they will bring you back in for projects they think you are right for, just not this one.”
Talent to manager: “But if I am not the right fit why did they bring me in?”
Manager to talent: “Because casting doesn’t always know exactly what they are looking for so they bring many types in until they do!
But you were not the right type/fit for this role in the long run and that is why actors have to do well at as many auditions as possible so that when they ARE right-THEY BOOK IT!”
But they DID see you, and they LOVED you-and will bring you back-that’s half the battle!”
Talent to manager:
“okay, yeah, you’re right-thanks!”

Time to excise the word “perfect” from your actor lexicon.
I know many actors who, when auditioning, strive to “execute perfectly”. But you’re a human, not a robot. And “perfect” is in the eye of the beholder… who’s to say what is or isn’t?
So instead of aiming for perfection, consider these goals when auditioning:
• Connection
• Active listening
• Full body awareness
• Complex, layered emotions
• Trust that the camera will sense your deep, subtle work
• Clarity and understanding of the text
(Notice I didn’t say things like lack of background noise or edge-free backdrops?)
Professional athletes don’t execute perfectly every time. They train to give themselves the best chance at succeeding, no matter the circumstances.
Hone your tools, then trust your training.

Even if you are still figuring yourself out and not sure who you are or where you are going, you have to own who you are!
Life comes at you with people, opportunities and decisions that will mold and shape who were are this is part of the art work of your life not the finished portrait.
So you have to own and love who you are at every step and every stage because there is no such thing as perfection that is a lie of the world that crushes our self love and self worth.
Own who you are, step out in confidence and love all the good and not so good things about you- and above all- do not compare!
One sure thing in this world and especially in this business is that comparing will kill your self love and self worth with doubt that you truly are who you are and of great worth- we ALL are so OWN IT! ~nb
Welcome to June and new beginnings!
Perhaps, even here,
in June,
there is still time for new beginnings.
There is still abundant room for you
to believe in the possibility
of what could be,
to breathe in
the same air
of every beautiful thing,
from garden lilies
to mountain peaks,
may all of it remind you: you are free.
You are free
to let June be
what June needs to be.
Let it feel like the soft fire
of a new morning sun.
Let it be an invitation
right in the middle of the year
to continue
to become.
Keep becoming
keep becoming
who you are meant to be,
For perhaps even here,
in June,
there is still time for new beginnings.
