Finally had a chance to reflect on the many blessings over the NCAA Women’s Final Four Weekend in Cleveland. Had the pleasure of DJing for a room of POWERHOUSE women courtesy of @wassermancollective + @athleta and had the honor of DJing the lounge experience at the games each day.
I left with a heart full of gratitude and inspiration after each event. Shoutout to the women writing their own narratives, creating their own standards + striving for the acknowledgment women deserve in sports and beyond. And being the baddestttttt, strongest, kind hearted, most dope ladies along the way! Thank you for being an example that the sky is just where we land, no limits can be placed on what we can achieve.
Grateful to be be a part of that + thankful for those who trust me to provide the sounds for it all. Truly an unforgettable weekend.🦋

When I first started DJing…it was long hours by myself teaching myself how to blend, mix + digging for sounds that I loved. All of that got a little lost in translation when the love for music became my primary job + some joy dissipated along the way. I searched for that feeling again to get back in that inspired space. Blended Sounds (whenever the inspiration strikes), to hold myself accountable for staying in touch with the reason why. Blended like @blendedteaco + blended like my love for many things. It’s my birthday today! As challenging as life can be, the love outweighs it all. I am blooming, evolving and changing but i’m most grateful for my consistent heart + that so many feel loved and seen enough by me to make me feel so special. Thankful for the ones by my side. Pray God continues to bless my life + help me move genuinely on this journey.

There was a time I was so afraid of the mic, lol (still cringing at hearing my voice but we’ll get over it). So grateful for @rnbonly and the memories made opening up the shows so far this season! Strangers turned friends and friends turned into the best + supportive family on this journey.
Looking forward to playing more sounds I love, hearing these beautiful crowds sing, getting closer with this amazing, talented team + exploring new spaces within and outside of myself. 🦋
