Amazing weekend in Mexico City! Finally got to check out Ling Ling and it is super special, the 360 view from the 56th floor is a priceless back drop for the a world class culinary experience in the heart of the Reforma district. And Lavo is another show stopper and now open! This venue is going to change the game in the already buzzing Paseo Arcos Bosques area.
Huge THANKS to our incredible design and architecture collaboraters @sordo_madaleno whose ability to capture the essence of both brands while weaving in the local soul really makes these venues unique. And hats off to our culinary and operations teams who once again delivered at the highest level of hospitality excellence.

The real winner of this years Super Bowl was the fans who not only got to see one of the greatest games of all time but who also got to experience it in a city that is worthy of hosting it! There is just no other city that is built as well as Vegas to support a sporting event of this size and scale and everything that comes with being a host city. I hope this is just the first of many for LV. And huge 🙏 shout out to our entire @taogrouphospitality team for executing dozens of events and the highest caliber of hospitality for our loyal guests and partners… 🏈💪
never thought i’d get to open up for Bad Bunny… but when @davidgrutman asks, we show. honored to share the stage w/ such an inspiring group at the FIU Chaplin School of Hospitality last night for The Dave Grutman Experience. In hospitality I have found that it is easy to get lost in the thrill of opening new venues, for most of our team openings are what we thrive on, the camaraderie that’s built from setting a date and having to overcome obstacle after obstacle to hit it is enthralling to say the least. I have found that we always learn so much with every venue launch, everyone on the team (aka task force) grow’s a little with each, no matter how many times we’ve done it. In 2023 we opened 10 venues, a feat I would have never thought was possible just a few years back. But as we start 2024, we are now finding ourselves entering what seems to be a new dimension of our ever-changing business – closing venues. In the past I feel we would have been scared to announce or celebrate a store closing in hopes people would quietly forget it was no longer. Closing a venue is something that we have been lucky to only rarely have to do but this week we are saying goodbye to @lavony . After spending the last 4 nights there, having dinners with different people who were part of the venue’s 13.5-year run, I have felt something new, even after 30 years I am still learning, its not always how you open, but also how you close (continued in comments)
