Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping 💥3-day off-road rally race for the 2024 NORRA 500, starting October 9th in beautiful Ensenada! 🏎️💨 Why 3 days? We are recreating (as much as possible) the 1970 NORRA 500 course!🎉
📢 Registration opens Monday, July 8th at 12:00 pm PT! 🗓️
🗓️ Event Schedule:
📅 Wednesday, October 9th: Kick off with tech inspection, UTV qualifying, and the welcome fiesta in Ensenada. 🎉
📅 Thursday, October 10th - Race Day 1: Competitors will blaze through timed stages, ending the day in San Quintin. (Note: Limited hotel rooms available – we are treating it like Bay of LA and NORRA already booked all rooms in San Quinten for the race and will allow 2 rooms per race team in the order you register, so register on July 8th!)
📅 Friday, October 11th - Race Day 2: The race continues from San Quintin to San Felipe. 🚀
📅 Saturday, October 12th - Race Day 3: The final leg returns to Ensenada, wrapping up with a grand finish line celebration! 🏁🎊
📅 Sunday, October 13th: Awards pick-up before heading home. 🏆
🌄 Safari Participants: Your adventure begins with a trip to Mike's Sky Rancho on Day 1, cheering racers on Day 2, and finishing with the rally back to Ensenada on Day 3. Enjoy the Baja experience like never before! 📸🌵

It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to one of the founding members of TracksidePhoto, John Rettie.
John was there from the beginning starting with covering the 1970 NORRA Mexican 1000 with cofounder of Trackside, Jim Ober.
John had the most amazing stories from a life well lived. From Baja, to Dakar, to Pikes Peak and anything else in between, John did it all.
A writer, photographer a true world traveler, a good friend and unique individual. His quick British wit and humor will be missed.

We have lost one of the greatest racers in motorsports of all time, Parnelli Jones. He was 90.
Parnelli's first Baja desert race win was at the 1970 NORRA Mexican 1000 in Big Oly with Bill Stroppe navigating - an iconic moment that pivoted the desert racing world. When NORRA rebooted in 2010 as a rally race, Parnelli Jones was our Grand Marshal ushering in the new era of NORRA.
The entire NORRA family extends our condolences to the Jones Family for their loss.
