Dear North Shore Dance Academy Families,
We are thrilled to share some incredible news with you as we celebrate our 30th year with Ms. Tammy as the owner of North Shore Dance Academy! In Augustof 1994, just 6 days before her second son was born Miss Tammy purchased North Shore Dance Academy from her cousin Cheri Gikas after teaching at NSDA for 8 years. At that time Ms. Tammy, Ms. Stacie, Ms. Julie and Ms. Dennee were the teaching staff over on Bartholomew St. in Peabody. We were a young staff with stars in our eyes ready to embark on a new an adventure together. Together our journey began and has led us to where we are today. Over the past three decades we have 11 children of our own, we have welcomed more wonderful and committed teachers to our staff (many home grown), moved our location to Danvers and have taught literally thousands of dance students on the North Shore. We have watched many those students grow, start their own careers, and families of their own. Once a part of the NSDA family, always a part of the NSDA family. Our community has grown and flourished, and we couldn’t have done it without the support and dedication of each and every one of you. Now, as we look towards the future, we are excited to announce that WE ARE EXPANDING!
We will remain at our home location at 27 Garden Street
#2 , and just a few steps down the sidewalk at
#7 , we are adding an additional two-room studio. This expansion brings fantastic new opportunities for our studio families, and we can’t wait to share them with you!
Our dedicated staff is looking forward to embarking on this new journey with all of you. Together, we will make this upcoming year the most exciting one yet! We are now working on a 6-room schedule (SO EXCITING), with luck on our side, registration will open on July 1st. Let’s take this leap together into an exciting new chapter with so much to celebrate and look forward to. Thank you for being a part of our dance family and for your continued support.
