#TreasureFierce took the stage this past weekend as Miss Blue Diamond @missnvusa nothing more than just a happy girl! 🤩 I feel as I honored my inner child because I’ve always wanted to compete in this pageant as a teen but wasn’t allowed to because at the time my agency Ford models told me it would “ruin” my runway walk…. Well everything has a time and place and the amount of squeals and smiles I made this weekend because I finally got to compete made my heart so happy! I can’t thank my friends and family enough for the love and support they always give me with all my crazy ideas! Glory to God for blessing me with some incredible humans! 🙏🏽 ❤️ and to @claireeliseyo for really encouraging me to register if it wasn’t for you reaching out I would’ve probably never signed up. So excited to say I competed in my very first state pageant and made it to top 5, not only that I got first runner up! im so proud of myself for how much ive grown and for coming this far, this was such an amazing experience and has shown me so much. I am going to keep preparing myself and keep working hard always, thank you to everyone who helped me and supported me throughout my journey💝✨
👑 Countdown To The Crown 👑 Pageant Prep Tips 👑
When preparing for a pageant, I remember the three W's.
1. Wardrobe. Plan out your wardrobe. Find things that speak to who you are and make you stand out. Most importantly, you need to feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful in whatever you're wearing.
2. Walking. Break in those shoes! Tippy tops are not easy for lots of people to walk in. Get your sea legs, loves!
3. Words. Interview can be intimidating. BUT, if you're prepared, it will certainly take the edge off. Practice with family, friends, coaches, by yourself in the car, where and whenever you can.
