I have received so many videos and recordings of you all performing my little improvisation and we edited a few of them together into this beautiful collage. I’m still stunned how this could resonate with so many people. Seeing all these different interpretation just goes to show how much of themselves the performer can inject into a few little symbols on a sheet of paper.
I have enjoyed watching and listening to you all so much – also the ones that didn’t make this clip (there is only so much we can fit into 90 seconds!) Every single one of you is beautiful and amazing.

a few months ago we realised most of my records were pretty much out of print. throughout the year we’ll be bringing them back in their original versions but to make it bit more fun they are now on coloured vinyl (otherwise they are pretty much the same). CDs are also back!

Very, very proud to see the first big OPIA Festival since 2019 take place finally. And very grateful to all of you, artists and guests alike, for taking the time to join us. This whole project, OPIA, mean so much to me. It started out as kind of a need that I felt in my heart for the music scene to be more connected, more real, to foster more friendships and collaborations, to inspire each other – not only between the artists but also the audience. Since we started forming this new shape of OPIA, in an online community during the “lost years” of the pandemic, we’ve been met with seen such incredible reception and enthusiasm. It’s like we planted a seed and now we’re just watching all these beautiful ideas come to life. It feels like one of the most important things I’ve been a part of in my career.
Thanks also for the beautiful reception to @davidsson.music , who opened the festival, and is our next signing to the OPIA Label. His first single, On Thin Air, is out now on @opiacommunity everywhere you listen to music.
