This is how I often start my morning on weekdays. It’s the first take and you can hear all the mistakes etc. My idea here is to keep the left hand close to the to the fifth fret and not to look a the fretboard. I’m way out of my comfort zone but that’s the point of course.

The classic Pat Metheny synth sound is immediately addictive, but also very hard to play. I’m soloing over Are You Going With Me? -One of my favourites! Thanks to @mehnqvist and #roland for the test drive.
