Looking through these photos of our work on our First Light project in Seattle, WA. for @buildgroupinc , something struck us as a call back to something one of our Founders Eric Horn had said, “This work is BOLD, it’s just naturally bold”. What you’re looking at is just a small cross section of the formwork it took to build in concrete, a pool and amenities deck cantilevered on the top of 45 stories of residential high rise in a busy downtown Seattle! The team kept it safe as priority job #1 BOLD! That’s a wrap ✅ We put in the final big deck pour at our 1766 El Camino Real project in Burlingame, CA. for Carmel Partners Construction! 573 yards for a 13” deck section. The last layer of concrete for the structure to start going vertical with wood framing! 2 down and 4 up podium style🤘 As always, thankful for the awesome trade partners that put in the time by our side to get this done 🙏 @imegcorp @dolanconcreteconstruction @interstate_concrete_pumping @u.s.concrete and Pacific Steel Group! As we come to the close of Affordable Housing Month in the San Francisco Bay, we want to share another cool project we worked with @cahillcontractors on in San Leandro, CA. Our Madrone Terrace project is a structural concrete podium which will be the base for the 79 unit Mid Rise project. 20 of those units will be specifically reserved for formerly unhoused families / individuals. We are more than happy to be contributing our part of helping create solutions for the unhoused here in the San Francisco Bay Area. We used A LOT of the new Pro-Shore, LLC MAX / High Bay #6 post on this one! Last week we held the topping off party for our 1766 El Camino Real project in Burlingame, CA. for Carmel Partners! From the archives! Throwback Thursday to September 22’ and our final Mat pour as part of our structural concrete package for @buildgroupinc on the @citylinesunnyvale Block 3s project! Once again @interstate_concrete_pumping @dolanconcreteconstruction @u.s.concrete and Pacific Steel Group were pivotal trade partners on this one for a total of 13 million pounds of rebar (total project) and 12,780 cubic yards placed in this Mat with 38,000 cubic yards for the project total! 💪😮 Another #excellenceplannedanddelivered project! #safetyisourfoundation

Congratulations are in order! Our sponsored Construction Management Team @calpolycm from @calpoly California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo took first place out of 16 teams for Region 6 and 7 in the Concrete Solutions Division competition in Sparks, NV! Our own Alumni Keenan Brekke is the coach for the team consisting of Kyle Honsik (ARCE), Jack Ritchie (CM), William Killmond (Civil), Lily Katherine Brown (CM), Katelyn Lowry, E.I.T. (ARCE) and Justin Coffin (CM). Keenan was at one time the captain of the team and now as an Alumni, has been coaching the team for the last 5 years.
