Hi, my name is Clayton Call an I have a deaf sister and a deaf aunt. I grew up learning ASL. Growing up and being involved in the deaf community helped inspire me to start ONE Interpreting, a company dedicated to providing equal access for deaf and hard of hearing.
I am pleased to invite you the Beyond Differences’ National Teen Board November meeting on Ability, this Sunday on November 21, 2021 starting at 4:00pm.
During the meeting we will be learning how to create more inclusive practices when working with people across the country and we will be speaking with professional Patricia Ramos Espinal and Parth Desai in the field of ability access. From speaking on the experience of being disabled in America across the country to being lead engineer on the creation of Apple’s first disability access app these two speakers have much to share on the power of converting social isolation to activism.
At this meeting, we will open a conversation about ability, and discover ways in which we can include and empower those so often left on the margins.
We can’t wait to see you all at our meeting!

when toyota said “mi familia road trip’ i knew exactly who to take along for the memories and laughs. yep, you guess it my parents! we took a trip down south this time to big sur and carmel. ⛰🌊 it’s crazy to think that they’ve lived here longer than i’ve been alive and they have never been sight seeing 🥺 all they know is work, home and their anual road trip to sinaloa! it was so fun watching them enjoy the #rav4#hybrid and my moms constant questioning about what does that feature do 😅 i also brought along my sister and cousin in law who brought all the laughs. i want to thank @toyotausa for this campaign, for introducing this weekend getaway with my folks to which i want to continue doing. i hope to take them on many more mini trips. make more time for these unforgettable memories. to places where my mom thinks “omg that’s so far” and it’s really only one hour away. to places where my dad only sees on movies. this is a trip i’ll never forget because it’s the first of many. #ToyotaPartner
Sitting here reminiscing on a time when corona didn’t exist. When ppl felt comfortable meeting new ppl, sharing a meal, shaking hands, etc. I don’t know if life will ever be the same. Although, I have gotten my taste back or my sense of smell there are no complaints here because I survived. I feel for all the people who have watched or are watching loved ones struggle with COVID. Take care of your mental health during this time. Thank you to everyone who has delivered groceries, made a caldo de pollo, worn a mask etc to take care of someone else because there are people who can’t afford to get sick. Share the love and positivity.
