Learning to pose is like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. You can’t dump it all on the table in one go and expect it to come together correctly. Build it piece by piece, taking your time to create the pretty picture👌 Learn how to hold good posture and become aware of how your body moves Learn the mandatory poses Learn the transitions Then add the flow and stage presence Be patient and consistent with it, you can’t rush artwork ✨ @posewith_a_and_k @browniegainzcreative #posingtips #bikinicompetitor #bodybuilding #npcbikini #ifbbbikini #posingcoach

July 2023-> 3days out WA state show-> 4days out Nationals. Started posing with Ainsley from @posewith_a_and_k April 2023 and I'm so glad I did early on. A whole new experience which did not come easy but was so enjoyable and rewarding especially seeing the posing compliment what we've built! @ainsley_goncalves & @kathryncavanagh_ you're both amazing at what you do and so inspiring! Thank you🧡

Aaannnd we are back for Season B After a successful Season A with some of our ladies lucky enough to take out the posing awards, our Season B ladies are out to give them a run for their money 😛 @wandee_beautiful_day is back after having competed once already. The aim for this season is to hone in on the small details, including her 4 main poses and flow through her transitions. She will be able to wave goodbye to her previous package and will knock it out of the water because we have already seen huge improvements in her posing and shape. Excited to see her back on stage 🎉

A very small insight into what my posing journey was the last 8 months! What a long way I came and it’s so cool to see the progress! I quite literally could not have done it without the continuous support, guidance and encouragement from Kat 🥺 You were patient, thorough, understanding but most of all just so much fun to be around every posing session I had. This truly is your sport and passion and I feel like you pass this infectious energy to all of your clients day in day out ❤️ Thank you SO much for everything you have done for me and my posing over the last year. My achievements are 100% a testament to the work you have put in with me 🏆 @kathryncavanagh_ @posewith_a_and_k

Learning to pose should be an enjoyable experience. Moving your body in a confident and graceful way to display the physique that you work so hard for, should be fun and rewarding. Remember we were all once beginners. With the right support anyone can learn to pose and love it too. All you need is perseverance and consistency. Then the confidence will come. Kicking your Monday night off with this super woman @becaddisonfitness 👸🏼 I thoroughly enjoyed our weekly online posing sessions, although this is not the first time we have worked together so I knew what i was up for. If this lady wasn't running round like a headless chicken she was moving house, renovating, home schooling 3 girls, running a fitness business AND prepping 😵‍💫 Now you can see why I will refer to her as the headless chook 😛 Bec was more consistent than most, with her sessions locked in almost weekly for the last 5 months. The two biggest things we needed to work on were her control through her transitions and speed (I think she only runs on one speed 🏃🏼‍♀️) I was blown away and almost had a tear in my eye when I saw her nail the speed of her routine in her first ever Pro League comp, Bec then backed it up by doing ICN. I know she doubted herself but after a quick posing session between states and nationals and a swift kick up the butt to her confidence she ended up placing 2nd at Nationals 🥰😱 Massive congrats on this season, we were so impressed with your changes and super proud of you for standing on that national stage 💃🏼👸🏼

Last but definitely not least for our Season A posing awards - @ignitefit.coach_az It certainly wasn't this ladies first time on stage but she definitely levelled up her posing this season. The biggest thing we worked on was making sure her lats were engaged to ensure her upper was well balanced with her incredible lower. It took a little time, but as soon as it clicked Asry nailed it. There are so many small things to take into consideration when posing and as a 2nd time competitor that's what we worked on - the 1%ers. Started posing: For this show I began lessons in December 2023. Hardest part: Getting used to heels again when I live in my trainers. Most enjoyable: Winning the Best Poser Award for Ms Fitness of course! And having lessons with my bestie, oh and also seeing the excitement on Ainsley's face when I nailed my poses and transitions - until she got the video camera out!! 🤣 Tips/tricks: Practice every moment you get, watch yourself in a full length mirror and then use a phone to record yourself once you feel confident. Also, attend group posing sessions to get used to being around other women. Finally just a big shout out to Ainsley for your massive support role throughout my journey 💐 And Kat and Ainsley (as well as their partners) for taking the time to run group posing sessions too, really appreciate all of you! Congrats also on an amazing showing at ICN Nationals this last weekend with some more medals to add to your ever growing collection. Thanks for allowing us to be a small part of your journey, it is a pleasure to help you and you are always welcome in the garage of posing gains 💓

What an incredible effort from @jasblucher taking home a medal in all her divisions as well as the best poser award at the ICN QLD Brisbane Classic. Jas always bought a bundle of energy and smiles to each of her sessions, with her own eye for detail and improvements she was always asking questions on where she could improve and advice on different poses and transitions for herself. Massive congrats, and what a big achievement for your first season of competing. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of it and what a bright future ahead 🌟 How far out from show did you start posing? My first ever posing session was October 2022 with my coach @jasminetemplinfitness which was 18 months out from my first comp! What was the hardest part of posing? Hardest part of posing was learning how to engage certain muscles, especially my lats! What was the most enjoyable part? Posing with friends was definitely a highlight!! Either at the group posing classes or catching up with friends to pose was always sooo much fun! Any posing tips/tricks for first timers? My biggest piece of advice would be to start early and do it as often as you can! You don’t necessarily need to do it every single day but make each posing session count!! Put on a banging playlist that makes you feel good and put in the work!! Anything other advice you would like to add? Favourite posing playlists on Spotify are - any burlesque soundtracks, stripper songs, confident energy and IFBB Bikini posing playlists.

What an amazing achievement by @tlc_physiques taking home Sports Model Overall Champ and best poser! 👏👟 Teagan your efforts this prep were inspiring to watch. You were relentless with posing practise from very early on. Your attention to detail with posing allowed you to improve weekly and refine everything to bring together confident and effortless posing. We are very proud of you and excited to see you on stage again this weekend! Started posing: Lessons started September 2023 Hardest part: I don’t ‘identify’ as sexy 🤣 I’m a goofball so needing to be graceful and poised was my biggest challenge. Most enjoyable: The whole learning experience with Kat! Discovering how to channel my goofiness into confidence was such an enjoyable journey. Tips: Start early. Practice at any opportunity. BE YOURSELF when you pose. Just let the girls help you discover the sassy version of you 😉

Ms Wellness Best Posing Award for Season A 2024! @alexandracarlotta 👑✨👏 Well deserved Alexandra! You are an experienced competitor and born to be a performer. This definitely showed through your confident stage presence and smooth elegant posing. You put in the time and effort to attend many group posing classes and one on one sessions in order to bring your best for all federations. Congratulations on a fantastic season in Wellness! 👏 Here’s some questions Alexandra answered about her posing journey 👠 How far out from show did you start posing? I started posing in January so 4 months before the competition. What was the hardest part of posing? The hardest part for posing was adapting my elite pro posing sass to the softer standard of the new posing 😅 What did you enjoy the most about Pose with A&K? The classes are fun! Any tips or tricks for first timers learning to pose? I try to play with the look , so sometimes a look down, others I look up, this I think help with the sass and give intention to the gestures and posing 🤗

Congratulations to our gorgeous client @fit.withdani who was presented the bikini posing award on Saturday! 👏✨ @icn_wa Dani is a great representation of what bikini posing should be! She walks with confidence, shows elegant stage presence and nails those poses from every angle. Dani I am so proud of you and all the hours of practise you have put into your posing. It all paid off and was clear to see up on stage. Wishing you the best of luck as you head to Nationals 🙌 Here’s some questions Dani answered about her posing journey 👠 How far out from show did you start posing? November 2022 was my first ever posing session! So about 18 months before stepping on stage! What was the hardest part of posing? I found trying to get my side pose to look pretty quite challenging. Humans are not made to twist like that 😂 What was the most enjoyable part? I loved posing! While I train I lean more into my masculine energy which leaves me feeling powerful and strong. Practising posing brings a beautiful balance of the feminine energy through flow and elegance! Any posing tips/tricks for first timers? Start as soon as you decide to compete & practise every time you get a chance. After your sessions, between your sets, before the shower. Any time you see a mirror! Like anything you only get better if you put in the work!
