𝐵𝑒𝒸𝒶𝓊𝓈𝑒 𝒴𝑜𝓊 𝒞𝒶𝓃’𝓉 𝐻𝒾𝒹𝑒 𝐹𝑜𝓇𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇 | I had the honor of working with my brother Stefen Pompee ( @pompeeraw ) for a set of images that had both of our visions blended into one. I’ve rarely opted to be to the subject of an image. Yet as I talked more with my friends, I was being reminded of all the years I’ve grown up never seeing anyone who looks like myself in any type of media. So this is for anyone who never thought they would see themselves in this light.

𝑀𝒾 𝒢𝑒𝓃𝓉𝑒 | People always ask what is about styling that made me want to go into this as a career, especially after I was coming out of Skating as a job. The truth is, it was the energy of making an image, and how it captures so many layers of a time, person, and place. To me this image captures the essence of what I saw in L.A. as a kid. A vibe that’s forever embedded in me. Thank You @camimendes & @zoeygrossman for bodying this so easily.
