The journey to get here has not been easy and at times I wanted to give up but it was the love and support from my family, friends, and my team that gave me the strength I needed this weekend 🦋 With that being said, THANK YOU to anyone who has been a part of my journey and that means anyone I have worked with over the last 6 years of chasing this crazy dream! You have all changed my life and shaped me into the woman I am today 🫶🏼

If I could describe how I’m feeling right now in one word after interviewing for the job of Miss Texas USA, it would be HONORED ✨ I am incredibly humbled and grateful to have shared my heart, my personality , and most of all my story with the judges this evening!
I can’t wait to hit the stage tomorrow night for prelims 😍
At 19 years old I was hospitalized for my mental health. I never thought I would be able to type that sentence, let alone post it for the world to read. It was by far the darkest time in my life. I was suffering with crippling anxiety and a deep depression, one that I never thought I would come out of. But I did. If I could go back and tell my 19 year old self where we are now and what we’ve accomplished, she wouldn’t believe me. But we did it, we’re here ✨ and I’m so proud of that girl for everything she overcame. This weekend while I compete for the title of Miss Texas USA, I’m competing for that 19 year old girl that was alone in the hospital thinking her life was worthless. Because now, at 23 years old, I know I am strong, I am resilient, and I am WORTHY ❤️
