I was very honored to create this piece for “The Show”, produced by
@vivvyanne_forevermore at
@counterpulse in October. I’ve had this particular idea hibernating in my brain since my first few years of performing, it’s very meaningful to me and I’ve been waiting for the opportunity to do it exactly how I wanted and the stars finally aligned.
As simple as it was, there were so many moving parts that I had no control over because I was fully bound the entire time. It was literally a team of rockstars that made it all unfold so beautifully so I want to thank
@tanmaniscool and
@pearl.daddi for being my strongmen, handlers and costars,
@pearl.daddi for doing the fastest messy/pretty makeup on me in under a minute,
@urheinous for orchestrating all of the technical elements including the camera, face lighting, and livestream,
@8i8x8i8x8i8 for additional lighting and technical support throughout the process,
@churro_nomi and team for safely getting me down from the ceiling, and last but not least
@boundmoxie who did some beautiful rope work and adornment 🌹 as an installation before the show.
