Celebrating that guy in the middle today! We are so grateful for this wonderful man, and everything he does for our family. He has a heart for serving and helping others, and for showing his children what quiet strength, hard work, resilience, and courage look like. We love him lots 💙
Wyatt needed a large supplies pouch that would fit bigger items like a bottle of glue, all his markers and crayons, and other art supplies for school. Green is his favorite color, so he picked out this tie dye fabric from @joann_stores and I sewed this up! For more stability, I chose to sandwich the fabric with Pellon flex foam stabilizer. @centerstreetquilts for pouch pattern 💚💚
Still having all the feels for this HP quilt. The finished product was long-awaited and it did not disappoint 👏👏👏 The backing pulled everything together beautifully. It’s now living in its intended home and I know it will be loved 🥰
Fun fact: I do not have one drop of Irish blood in my DNA. I have red (strawberry blonde) hair, freckles, blue eyes and fair skin, but I am zero percent Irish. 🤷♀️ My husband, who looks Sicilian more than anything, is the Irish one—also not Italian. 🤷♀️🤷♀️
I feel like a bit of an imposter celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, but I love green, potatoes, and Reuben sandwiches, soooo, I celebrate anyway💚 another fun fact: My brother’s and uncle’s birthdays are on St. Patrick’s Day ☘️
I needed something festive for my table and came up with this scrappy table runner. It was a quick weekend project, using only what I had in my fabric stash. (This is the 2024 goal: use what I have 👊🙌) I think it turned out quite nicely.
