Wishing all of @abtofficial a huge Toi Toi for their opening of Met season tonight! It was a huge privilege to be able to create something to celebrate the stories they are putting onstage. The team was truly world class, and everyone did such a phenomenal job bringing this thing to life. It is no small feat to tell 4 unique stories in one space, and in a short amount of time. A giant thank you to @abtofficial , Lourdes and the marketing team, and @susanjaffeofficial for the trust. So much appreciation for the magic that @underhill.film brings to everything they touch. The phenomenal set work from @celinaarslanian and her team. And of course most importantly, the stunning dancers pouring their hearts out and dancing beautifully. If I can get close to making something that captures the ephemeral transcendence of what you put onstage I will be deeply satisfied 🤗

I was challenged by my good friend @sloanefair to recreate famous dance scenes from movies at home alone during this time. I was hesitant at first but thought I would give it a try to see what I might be able to learn from it. Turns out it was way more fun than I thought and the result was funnier than I could have imagined. I present to you my take on Dirty Dancing, quarantine style. I filmed everything alone, including all the camera moves and crowd scenes. Hope it brings a little light to your day, it’s just meant to make people happy.
