listen- I know you’re gorg, you know you’re gorg… but that pose makes you feel less than gorg 😂 and tbh in my decade+ career as a photographer of not just boudoir but portraits weddings families etc etc, it’s not just boudoir posing. It’s all posing. ✨realistically✨ all good posing is, is making a 3D subject appear as beautifully as does in real life, but in 2D. Yes, read that again. That’s why angles and posing are so weird! It’s the nature of converting 3D humans to 2D visuals and the compression that different lenses bring to the table. So yup- it feels like a Pilates class on steroids but I promise the outcome is worth it 💯 ⭐️ 🩷 if you aren’t cursing me under your brefffff a lil bit, then we aren’t working hard enough 😂😂😜

sunset in the studio ✨ this summer is full of fall brides gettin gorgeous images for their bridal boudoir album and I am here 👏🏼 for 👏🏼 it! One of my FAVORITE activities for my brides is to come in before their wedding for a shoot- their confidence on their wedding day is at an all time high and the gift is an obvious bonus 🦴 😘 @geminiistudios

nothing gold can stay ✨ instead of focusing on moments in my life being beautiful -in part - because they are ephemeral (vacation, “youth”, golden hours, Friday nights, etc) I’m keenly focused on realizing that my life is beautiful at any stage because ✨it is✨ the ephemeral little grain of sand that it is. the hard days, the seasons of uncertainty and growth, they’re harder to appreciate in the moment, aren’t they? I have no idea what I’m doing most of the time. comparison makes it easy to never feel good enough in the moment. but when I take a walk during a golden hour, when I have my windows down and feel my hair whipping around me, when I feel little hands on my face kissing me, when I stand, during a storm, in the cherry blossoms that only last for a week or two in my front yard I know, without doubt, I have heaven in my hands every day. 🍒 self portraits // April 2024
