During this second workshop we featured the talented Janelle Issis. @jbellyburn She had been with Raks Al Zahra for 3 years, it was wonderful to collaborate and dance with her in different settings. Creating the workshop and choreography with Janelle was a lot of fun, we were constantly feeling creative during the process plus she is always laughing. We are very happy with the result and with the dancers who came to dance with us. We hope to repeat in the future. Insha’allah

We celebrated the beginning of Spring releasing our Raks Al Zahra Workshop Series. During the first one we featured our super (woman) flower, Jesska. After many years dancing together, I still feel very inspired by her. Creating the workshop and choreography with her was extra special, she never fails to surprise me.
