Sunday Sports Recap: #MurraysPestControl - We lost by forfeit, which makes sense with so many Fathers on our team. Happy Father’s Day gents! Luckily, the other squad was very good sports and lent us a player, and our Ump played Catcher for us. I pitched! And I wasn’t half bad! @adampsegal and @goodog34 made some BADASS catches! My favorite play of the game though came from our replacement player getting his own Dad on the other team out on a Double Play. What a fun game! Lost 7-5 I think, pretty close all things considered! @la_blades @bay_harbor_blades - We lost a tough one here, I believe the final score was 8 to 6? Maybe 9 to 6? I really don’t remember, so I’m gonna say it was 8 to 6. We were up most of the damn game. 1-0, 1-1, 2-1, 3-1, 3-2, 4-2. I was feeling good! Then they went and tied it up. We scored again and made it 5-4. Then 5-5. We scored again and made it 6-5 to start the third, but sadly that was our last lead. Because then they started rolling in the third where they just kind of rained on us. We didn’t seem to have the juice to keep up anymore, and they came hard down the stretch, but it was a very fun game! I myself am having a very statistically unlikely run as of late scoring three points two weeks ago, four points one week ago, and now five points tonight. Two goals, then three goals, and now four goals… I went from scoring one Hat-Trick 18 years ago to having scored two in two weeks now. It is just insane to think that this happened two weeks in a row, but I guess I’m putting myself in the right places and my teammates are feeding me the puck at the right times. A perfect pass from @sk8tin_psych was so good! A sick pass from Kevin for another, a broken play goal, and a picked off breakaway. What a night at the rink! But . . . I’d us have rather got the win.

Sunday Sports Recap: #MurraysPestControl - We lost a close one this week, 9-10 . . . ugh. Another error in the outfield, not a fan of this trend . . . down to one though. @tellezryan started the game off with a Homer, and my first at bat was a Triple, but we slowed down a bit at the plate after one. I went 1 for 2 with a Triple, a Flyout, and 2 walks with 1 getting us an RBI. @la_blades - Again, the evening game went better. We skated away with a win! And I had no penalties! The @jefftuballes_ /Kevin, and Joey line is still together and playing great. We had a +/- of I believe +4 with Kevin getting a goal. I had an assist to @mcordish and somehow another assist in Kevin’s goal? And . . . umm . . . I scored a #HatTrick in the first period . . . what a game! Myself and our goaltender Lea ended as Co-MVPs tonight. Woo! Go Blades!

Sports Sunday Recap: #MurraysPestControl lost a tough one. We just could not get it together at the plate, losing 7 to I believe 12? I recorded the final out, very sad. Decent job in the field, but again 2 errors that lead to 3 runs. At bat I went 1-4 with a Double and 2 RBIs. @mr.spodom hit a monster Homerun, but we just couldn’t get enough people home. In hockey tonight I really turned it around! @la_blades played great in a 7-3 victory with the line I was on recording every goal! @jefftuballes_ with 1 beauty, Kevin with FOUR goals, and myself with 2x to match my 2x penalties. Kevin and I ended with a +/- of +7 and Jeffrey of +6 because unfortunately he was out there on a Penalty Kill. What a great way to end the night! Apparently 10:00PM Games are where it’s at! In theory the game was recorded, and my two goals were pretty neat, so hopefully I can put them up here later. Also, I wear a shirt under my shoulder pads, it was disgusting and I forgot a backup, so that’s why I don’t have a shirt, ha #LABladesHockey #LABlades

Rough game today for #MurraysPestControl , we started out hot with a 5 run first inning, but after being up 5-2 we just couldn’t get in a rhythm again at the plate. First game for me back in over a month was a pretty rough too. 1 for 4 at the plate, scored two runs, but in the field I was all over. Had an inning where I recorded every out in left field, and had two pretty unfortunate unforced errors on misreading balls, one leading to 3x runs. I’m gonna blame it on my glasses though, ha. My vision was too good! Rough day back, but my body feels good, just gotta get my mind right and locked in for next game. Final score was like, 11 - 8? Maybe? That seems right. 3 up 3 down to end it. So, umm, yeah. Let’s go to the pool!

After tonight I do believe Electric Six has now become the first band I’ve ever gone to see in concert twice without knowing someone in the band. Both times were because a friend invited me, shout out to @epluribusbrewnum for tonight! And @patrickj.thompson for the first time 11 years ago back in Fargo. I’m glad we got to do this for your birthday, Dan! Thank you and happy belated birthday!
