Hey y’all! Cody here. Today is a great day! It’s the 3-year anniversary of me joining the Real Friends family. I just wanted to take a second and reflect… Being here is a dream that I am forever grateful for. You have all been such an incredible community that I have felt love from since the day I showed up. In the past three years, I have been able to check off countless bucket list items of mine, most of which I had almost given up on. :p 206 shows, 2 EPs, and hundreds of Cheesecake Factory dinners later, I just feel… happy. Something I don’t take for granted. The band and I have you to thank for that. So thank you. Thank you for supporting this band. It means so much to me that you connect with us and our music. P.S. I feel the same excitement about what the band has coming up next as I did the first day we announced me in the band. I think our new album might be the most special thing I’ve ever been a part of, and I can’t wait to share everything with you all… But, more on that next week. I’m sick and tired of someone not getting the respect they deserve. Shut up already about the singers and the guitar players. Today is the day to celebrate the real backbone of the band — the drummer. Let’s give a big ol’ happy birthday to our little drummer boy, Brian Billy Blake. And while we’re at it, let’s hear it for all the drummers around the world, but most importantly, let’s hear it for our Brian.
