The hydrangeas across the north east are blooming like crazy this year! I know in my own garden I had 4 bushes only produce 2 blooms last year and this year there are easily 100!
These are the tricks I’ve learned over the years from gardening friends and social media on how to make your cut hydrangea blooms last as long as possible ! I have some blooms I cut over 2 weeks ago that still look perfect! 🌸
One thing I forgot to mention in the video is to cut early in the morning before they get droopy and hot—- otherwise wait until it cools down in the evening.
