A couple of years ago, I was challenged by the incredible
@likelaurentaylor (aka the queen of Instagram and TikTok growth) to start posting video content on TikTok.
Initially uncomfortable with the idea, I decided to push myself and show up authentically, hoping to connect with like-minded people in my world and business.
Through this app; I connected with this wonderful lady!! Rena
@rena.realestate , a fellow realtor, was looking to relocate her family from Toronto to Moncton. We spoke about what she was looking for and decided to work together to find her family a new home. Despite a few challenges along the way, we succeeded in finding her an amazing home in a wonderful neighborhood.
After securing a home for her family, Rena decided to become a licensed realtor in the greater Moncton area and joined our organization of realtors.
Through some strategic planning calls with myself and our business partner, she strategized to maintain her license in Toronto while building her business in a new city. I think it’s safe to say that she’s content that we decided to think outside of the box on how to achieve this.
Over the past year and a half, it’s been a pleasure getting to know her better. She’s become a friend and is definitely my people, and I’m grateful that TikTok brought us together.
Monday night was her birthday and we spontaneously decided to celebrate her birthday and finally got a picture together.
I’m incredibly proud of her growth and all she’s achieved, managing her businesses in two areas while being a mom to two kids.
Here’s to more celebrations with this incredible woman. 🥂
Let this be a reminder: embrace discomfort, show up as yourself, and the right people will find their way into your life. 💕
