Ultimate USA Service Initiative for day 3! My Ultimate Service Initiative is Rise with STEAM. I started developing my initiative in sixth grade! I chose STEAM Education as my mission because, as an elementary schooler, I fell in love with forensics. Today, I went to fill up a local Blessing Box. When I opened the door, there were only three items left! I am so happy I was able to stock it with more food. One super cool thing about this box is that it has two compartments. The top had some self-care items like soap, a toothbrush, and lotion. Last week, I was in Orlando, Florida, and had the opportunity it visit the @orlandosciencecenter One of their many exhibits was a STEAM integration gallery. Of course, I had to check it out! The peice in the 2nd and 3rd slides is colored paper layered over Orlando's public transit map. There were several other cool pieces that integrated STEAM.
