This treatment will take place over 1-3 appointments. It may involve multiple areas of filler and Tox. The patient will be handpicked based on need, facial features, skin health, prior history, and a few other parameters. Candidate must consent to their photos on social media, websites and for educational purposes like trainings and conferences. 💫
Exclusions apply: do you have a ton of filler in your face already? Do you have an autoimmune condition? Do you only want lips? Are you ok with letting your photos be on social media? Are you scared of needles? There are things that have to be discussed first at the initial consultation. 💫

Everyone likes to see the Before and After pics but what about the “in between”?
Bruising and swelling is common with this procedure so please plan for that. 💕
Some tips you can do to minimize the risk of bruising:⬇️
1. Take arnica and eat pineapple (high in bromelain) the week leading up to your appointment.
2. Avoid taking anything that thins your blood (don’t stop any medical treatment prescribed by your physician without first checking).
These include: Advil, ibuprofen, Aleve, naproxen, Motrin, blood thinners (don’t stop if you are prescribed these), aspirin, ginger, ginseng, Ginko biloba, garlic, alcohol (seriously!!), hemp and chia, omega fatty acids and fish oils.
Vitamin E and turmeric etc.
3. After your appointment, it is helpful to apply warm heat to help clear the bruising. Think a hot sushi towel (but not too hot!) ice can help swelling.
During your appointment we apply gentle pressure if we spot a bruise forming and do what we can to minimize discomfort and bruising. Trust the process and you will enjoy the results!

Trap Tox can be a great treatment for those that have tight trapezius muscles. This therapeutic treatment can bring relief to many, not to mention it can help the neck appear longer as the trapezius muscle atrophies.
However, it is important to take into consideration a few things. Every action has a reaction. This means that while we quiet down the traps, other adjacent muscle groups can ramp up causing new referred pain. So it’s important to keep tabs on any new pain symptoms after treatment. Start low and go slow is always a good motto. 💪🏼
Tip: When placing toxin in the trapezius muscles, we must make sure the length of the needle is correct- nothing too long. We can pinch the skin upward and isolate the muscle group. Let’s also respect the underlying muscle groups and apex of the lung which has been documented as close as 3.3 cm deep to the skin! 🫁

What characteristics make up an attractive female jawline?
According to a 2023 study by Mommaerts and Cleymaet, published in the journal of Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery, the following female jawline parameters are ideal. (My major take aways).
1. Gonial angle in profile of 125.5 degrees. 🌿
2. Gonial angle anterior view 142 degrees. 🌿
(Kate Moss has 139 degrees anteriorly).
3. Intergonial-interzygomatic width ratio was 0.83. 🌿
Limitations:
Only Caucasian females used in this study. Only 88 images viewed and critiqued. We know that standards of beauty differ between ethnicities and cultures. Trends can also influence perception of attractiveness. Diversity has to be taken into account because a Caucasian female jawline is very different from an Asian one and so forth.
I believe that this gives a set of parameters to remember in the back of our minds and also reinforces what Dr. Arthur Swift has noted (128 degrees) as the most attractive gonial angle for the female jawline.
However, we must remember to treat the patient in front of us and respect THEIR OWN unique beauty. We have jobs to restore balance and harmony to the face. We also have the ability to add balance by giving someone a gonial angle that may not have a very noticeable one. There is also a fine line between masculinizing someone or feminizing someone based on angles and widths of the jawline.
