Due to our cold climate, Estonian strawberries 🍓 have a short growing period, but the outcome is incredible- the most delicious 🍓 in the whole world 🤪👍 We always get our berries from Joosepi Farm @joosepitalu and their mind blowing chocolate covered strawberry dessert from @chocolatierjoosep

Even though our Estonian ancestors Summer Solstice celebrations may have looked like scenes from the horror movie “Midsommar”, nowadays it’s about lighting bonfires, searching for fern blossoms during midnight in the deep forest ( ferns never bloom though), Kiiking (Estonian invented swinging sports) and enjoying the longest white night- sun barely sets then.
Estonia’s literacy rate is almost 100% (99,87). Meaning that Estonian kids are into reading already from the early childhood. Visiting libraries is part of our regular activities. My favourite library in Tallinn is Estonian Children’s Literature Centre @lastekirjanduse_keskus You can find all sorts of activities and exhibitions there in addition to exciting books 📚
