Wednesday Dinner

@mcsachin ’s colleagues came to dinner last evening and I cooked a meal. It was a working day, so I took all the short cuts that I know to put together this meal.

For the starters, I put together a Cheese Board, some Vegetable Crudités with Sour Cream and Onion dip and
@haldiraminternational Hara Bhara Kebab.
.
For the mains, I made my 3C3G Pulao in the
@instantpotsingapore using
@lazah.egy mixed vegetables. Pulao and Makhani are a match made in heaven and given that I always have a stash of my Tomato Onion paste and
@roopakstores Tandoori Chicken Masala and Butter Chicken Masala, it came together very quickly.

I also made some Chhole with
@roopakstores Punjabi Chhole Masala. Since I didn’t know what spice levels might be acceptable to our guests, I made a gravy similar to what I make for Methi Matar Malai but added Paneer instead, making it a Matar Paneer Malai!

And to amp up the vegetable quotient of the meal, I made some sautéed Green Beans with Garlic and Cayenne Pepper. We also toasted some
@tyjfood Spring Home Onion Parathas because I love such gravies with these Parathas!

For dessert, I decided to make Carrot Cashew Kheer. I pressure cooked some
@woolworths_au frozen Carrots with Cashews. Then, I blended it with Milk and Condensed Milk in the
@ninjakitchensg Nutri Ninja. I heated the mixture with some Saffron. This was a tasty, not too sweet, mild Kheer. I am seriously considering making it again for my next Pandigai Saapadu. Tomorrow!

I enjoyed putting this meal together. While there were many steps, it felt effortless for the most part. Like I always say, “I get by, with a little help from my friends.”
