“I think that any song that’s worth a damn should be able to be reduced to its barest elements, and that’s what I am to do on this tour, perform these songs using only my instrument and my voice,” says A. Savage.
“I’d like to play for two nights in each city because I have a lot of material I’d like to cover,” he explains. “From my albums ‘Several Songs about Fire’ and ‘Thawing Dawn’, but also from Parquet Courts and perhaps even some older songs from my old group Teenage Cool Kids. No doubt some cover renditions as well. In essence — my repertoire.”
