My eventful month included meeting the
@chicagosmayor at Queer Pride Family Jam, engaging in a book club discussion with
@otroedgrargomez about their book High Risk Homosexual, rocking the
@chicagopubliclibrary Summer Kickoff Block Party, featuring on
@wgnnews , having my first-ever Rainbow Health and Wellness Fair (a WESTSIDE Pride Fest) at the Library, with
@diskoli and
@professorwrecks and our incredible partners and sponsors like
@darkmattercoffee and
@sexpectationschi , performing at the
@poetryfoundation to a twice packed room, celebrating Juneteenth at
@semicolonchi bookstore and adding amazing titles to the
@rapbrary collection, starting the filming of the 'Rapbrarian' documentary with
@errntee.mov , dropping my 10th project JUKE IV: FLU GAME with
@official_theisy , attending a talk by the brilliant
@nikolehannahjones on the 1619 Project, joining a panel with
@closetunlockd and
@weareblacknout @nobodysdarlingbar , rocking Pride Fest with
@rheathesecond , collaborating with
@avery_r_young +
@thefloatingmuseum , popped out, showed niggas, and even became a part of the
@recordingacademy Class of 2024!
And it’s all the grace of god that I had energy, ability, and mindset to accomplish it all!
We are however gay and tired 🥱 and wanting a spa day and 2 massages! Blessed nonetheless though!
