▫️ @sam.evian is that kind of artist where their sound is familiar and nostalgic, but also completely innovative and contemporary. That’s a rare thing. He’s also the rare kind of artist who is also a really great producer and engineer. Hudson Valley’s Jon Brion if you will. We got to hang with him for a while this week and he was kind enough to show us his studio, home, and the best Armenian food I’ve ever had.* Sam’s latest album Plunge is very sick (a few songs are on the PHILM playlist) - as is his entire catalog. Seriously, it’s really good. Super well crafted songs that also happen to be beautifully produced. Also pictured here in slide 8 is @misshannahcohen who, while not unveiling ultra dank tie-dyes, is a great musical artist - her album Welcome Home is incredible. Check all her stuff out.
