I almost didn’t release this song. There were multiple times that I let the fear of people’s judgement stop me from believing that I can be my most authentic self and say what I want to say. The fact is, this many years on into my career, I’m not going to release a song, unless it stands for something meaningful.

Growing our baby girl 🤍
Things are getting harder, and I’m less inclined to leave my cosy home these days. The excitement to meet our girl, keeps a constant smile on our faces. We’ve written songs for her, her very own lullaby’s. She dances within me when Gabriel comes home and picks up the guitar, because she knows his voice now. I sing to her, even though I run out of breath so easily. She keeps me up all night, showing me her dance moves. My body aches from the weight of her growing within me. When I cry through the pain of my bones moving to allow space for her, she reminds me with little kicks, that this is temporary and soon we will meet, snuggle and get to know each other.
We have your name, your room and all your things ready for you baby girl. You are already so loved and we can’t wait to cover you in kisses. 🤍

Recently a few people have asked why I’m not posting much or why I’ve “disappeared”. The simple answer is that I realised how much I actually don’t feel the need to share in this incredible, exhausting, beautiful, hard and personal journey with the internet.
One thing I have learnt that I will share though, is that no matter what you do from the moment you conceive, people will have an opinion on how you choose to do things, when you choose to do them and why. So the more you share, the more noise you’ll hear. My advice; do your own research, do what you want and block out the noise! Women are amazing and this is the best and hardest thing I’ve ever done. Hope everyone is amazing! Xxx
