Located near San Diego State University, Rise is making waves 🌊 across the country with their fresh and delicious take on Southern breakfast and lunch. Their famous crispy, tenderized, buttermilk-brined fried chicken topped with pickles and their signature Boom Boom sauce served on a fresh potato bun. 🍗 Southern Chicken:: Topped with their house-made, three-cheese Southern pimento cheese and applewood-smoked bacon served on a freshly baked buttermilk biscuit. I’ll be dreaming about this tonight! 🍗🧀 Chix & Grits: Their take on a Southern classic: sliced Righteous Chicken fingers over cheese grits, with applewood-smoked bacon, Cheddar cheese, green onion, and a drizzle of Boom Boom sauce. I just went to a @volosandiego kickball league game. It was super fun. I met so many different people. It is truly perfect if you’re trying to learn a new sport or just make some friends. Afterwards we went to the local bar to play flip cup. I am definitely coming back. If kickball isn’t your thing, they have dozens of sports for you to try! If you’re in San Diego you need to check out Volo’s pass or leagues. Tag a friend who you are kickballing with!

I was going to make a meat joke, but I’ll probably butcher it If you have a hard time choosing between Korean barbecue and hot pot, I have the best spot for you! @shabumibbqmi offers the best of both worlds, and it’s even all you can eat! Nothing beats high quality meats and fresh seafood. It’s such a great spot for sharing and you will definitely leave full! 🥩 Korean BBQ: Choose from 15 meats including beef brisket, pork belly and even a ribeye steak. I had an amazing time at @philly_sandwich.co in Miramar, San Diego! 🌟 The Joe Special Cheesesteak was my favorite! I also enjoyed the grilled pastrami with Swiss, Joe Special fries, and some local Philadelphia sodas and chips. Everything was delicious and authentic. If you’re in the area, check it out! 🤤

I just had an amazing BBQ feast at @abbeysrealtexasbbq in Miramar, San Diego! 🍖🔥 I tried their sampler platter with beef brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs, chicken, baked beans, potato salad, and corn bread! 😋 I also tried their smothered barbecue fries and their wings, I absolutely loved them all!🍟🤤 Make sure to tag a friend who you want to take here!

I just visited @bonchonsd in National City and it did not disappoint! 🤩 I tried the soy garlic wings, japchae, and their new Korean street corn 🌽🔥 But I really enjoyed the pork belly bao buns! Tag a friend who you are going with.

✨ I just had an incredible visit to @madforcheesecake in National City! 🧀🍰 I tried their Japanese cheesecake, Uji matcha tiramisu, and my absolute favorite, the ube strawberry ice cream and matcha ice cream topped with a taiyaki fish cone. 🍵🍓🍦 If you love unique and delicious desserts, this place in National City is a must-visit!
