hey you, been a while! before i start a new little chapter☁️, i wanted to shine a light on a song that’s very dear to me; TINY FLOWERS... i can’t deny that doing music as a career has resulted in a weird habit of looking at numbers to measure ‘success’. often my most personal & experimental songs are not the songs that do ‘well’ in commercial terms… however, i notice how these type of really personal songs such as TINY FLOWERS connect to people in a different way. i’ve gotten more personal messages from people about TINY FLOWERS than about any other record, yet it’s not a ‘big’ hit or streaming song. i realize now that if i can touch one single soul with a song, that is true success to me. TINY FLOWERS was an important song for me to write while dealing with anxiety and depression. i feel like there’s so much emphasis on a ‘hit’ or ‘viral’ moment in music rn… i just want to express how i experience this crazy journey (aka life) through music; and when people resonate with it and find some sort of truth or meaning by listening to it; that’s the most beautiful feeling in the world to me… 🤍 i’ve been in many situations where people have tried to mold me into something i’m not… radio friendly (?!) streaming friendly (?!) etc… making music with a goal like that has just never been something that touched my heart.. i often think about how i felt the first year of touring as san holo, the curiosity, the freedom, the love. this next chapter is gonna be all about that! ☁️ question: what’s a deep cut san holo song that you love?! - san ↑%

dear Tokyo 🇯🇵🤍 thanks for this special experience… i spent so many days wandering around the city, taking in the sights and sounds. still in awe of the culture, the politeness, the food, the language. everyone who came out to the show: ありがと! 🫶 the more i travel the more i realize how small i am. i’m a little pea. i can’t put into words how these trips around the globe affect me emotionally. you know that feeling after a long trip, when you’re suddenly back in your own room again, with so many experiences still processing in your head… it’s wild. all i can say is that home will never feel quite the same again... 🌍🤍 you ever felt homesick, at home? - san ↑% p.s. been working on a very special song ✨

i’m currently still processing this china adventure! 🇨🇳 went b2b with @madeon again, and the energy of the crowd in china is truly something else ❤️ wow… traveling the world taught me so much. i’m so fascinated by different cultures and how we’re all shaped by our upbringings and surroundings. whenever you catch yourself judging someone, think about how we all have different origins. deep down love connects us all and i believe music is such a great tool to bring people together! ❤️ any countries i should visit / tour soon 🌎🙄? - san ↑%

hello!!! i’ve been traveling so much i barely have time to think about almighty social media posts 🙃 even though there’s a lot of noise in my mind i wake up feeling grateful for many many things. one of those things is getting to share music and experiences with all of you! whoever is reading this right now, thank you for being here ↑%… what’s something you’re grateful for right in this moment? would love to hear about it 🌎🤍 i’ve been thinking a lot about what’s truly important in life (what is life!?) and it’s still an ongoing process; i’m excited to tell you all about it with the new music i’ve been working on, soon :) i’m off to china and japan for a couple of weeks and i can’t wait to take it all in 🤍 love -san ↑%

who remembers this era!? 🥲 throwback to 2018 when i got to play Coachella… a moment i will never forget! some or my family flew over from Holland to see me play out here in California. i remember how much it meant to me that finally someone from back home🇳🇱 could experience the amazing energy that people were bringing to shows out here in the states 🇺🇸; because videos never really did it justice… i’m from a small town in holland and i never thought i’d ever play a festival like Coachella. i’m so grateful for all of the incredible moments i’ve experienced touring the US, it’s been almost 10 years. all of this wouldn’t be possible without YOU… i am very aware of that. love y’all 🤍 - san ↑%
