Chop up your clothes! This vest was originally a jumper that I bought secondhand from Facebook marketplace but the sleeves were a bit strange. I couldn’t part with the pretty floral embroidery so instead I parted with the sleeves and cut them off. Now I love this little vest! 🌸🌷🌻🌼

I haven’t posted on my feed in exactly a year. The last time I posted was an end-of-year compilation just like this one, it even started the same with a video of me swimming in a pool in Thailand. My 2023 camera roll was just full of photos and videos I needed for work, it was so hard to find enough content for this compilation. Next year I want to take more photos and videos, and capture my life as much as I can before it flashes before my eyes. Here’s to 2024! I hope this time next year I’ll find it even harder to make a 2024 compilation because there’ll be too many amazing videos to choose from. Happy New Year!! 🥳
An hour and a half to 2023 ✨
2022 was the year I spent the most time at home in Sydney since 2017. It was the year of me trying to find my way back to Taiwan, but in doing so I found my love for my home here in Sydney. I wouldn’t exchange a second I spent with my family and friends for anything in the world. 2022 highlights include any moment I was spending with family/friends, quitting a very toxic workplace, seeing Tame Impala and Sunset Rollercoaster live, Paul in Sydney, going to Brisbane, going to Bangkok, finally being able to go back to Taiwan, and coming back home to Sydney for Christmas. The highlights outweighed the lowlights this year (and boy were there some lowlights).
I’ve learnt to feel more comfortable in myself and I learnt not to waste time or effort on things/people that don’t bring me joy. I hope to bring this newfound understanding of the world into 2023.

The difference between January and December makes me laugh. I seem to take these silly little videos quite a lot, so much so that I have at least one for each month. My goal in 2023 is to let go of that niggling feeling that I shouldn’t post something because someone somewhere is going to judge me for it. One thing I’ve learnt this year is people are going to judge either way, so just do your thing. If it’s not hurting anyone, then their judgements are their problem. 😘
“Wednesday’s child is full of woe”
I had the loveliest day last Wednesday! I was born on a Wednesday, but my life is anything but full of woe. Over the last 5 years I’ve been constantly travelling about, finding my place on this planet. I am so unbelievably thankful to everyone who has stuck around all these years, every person is my life is so precious and I love them very much (even if I take forever to reply to messages). 😘🥰💖

This dress is literally held together by safety pins and ribbons. I bought it from an opshop at the start of the year and had to get it even though it didn’t fit me, it was just too pretty to leave behind. One day I’ll do it the justice it deserves by tailoring it, but there’s nothing safety pins can’t fix in the meantime. 💁♀️

Finally crossed off Tame Impala from my concert bucket list, one of my favourites artists and one I’ve been wanting to see forever. And I was so close to missing it! We got the tickets literally the day before and I’m super happy we were able to go, it was incredible! I was hypnotised. It’s been years since seeing my last concert and I forgot just how much I love seeing live music and taking in the atmosphere. Can’t wait to go to more. 🥰
Getting around to posting old photos before I leave Aus again. Also, why is it 18 degrees in the middle of Spring in Sydney right now?? Please warm up so I can wear outfits like this before going back to Taiwan where it’ll be winter. 🙏
