Happy 5 year adoptiversary to my sweet boy. I had no idea that adopting him was going to be the most challenging, life altering, and rewarding decision I’ve made. This dog has been my constant for half of a decade and has no idea the amount of life he has helped me overcome. He has been there to romp around and celebrate the happy times and he has been there to lick away tears during the sad times. Happy birthday my sweet lady. I am immensely proud of everything you have achieved over the last year. There are no words to explain how wonderful it is to wake up each day and experience a love with such mutual respect and dedication. Loving you is one of the greatest joys in life. May we continue to eat our body weight in sushi, giggle until our ribs hurt, ugly dance at bars, talk to random dogs through car windows, and explore the world together (don’t worry that includes relaxing on beaches… you might have to get on long flights though).
