We love getting to know all of you ☀️ so we’re sharing about our incredible team member Carla!! 1. What is your role at Sash and how long have you worked here? I am the Canadian Queen of Customer Care. I got this awesome title since I am the only Canadian on staff and I help take care of customers who email us. I am also very active in our Sash Facebook Community group (mostly commenting as Sash, although sometimes as myself too). I have been a Sash Sister and member of the Sash Community since 2017 and started working here in March 2023. 2. What’s your favourite thing about yourself? I have had people say that I am like my Dad and that makes me happy. He was kind and had the biggest heart and was always ready to help anyone who needed it. So yeah, to have people say I’m like him means a lot. 3. What does “community” mean to you? Community means two different things for me. The Sash Community has always been a positive place where I can go and interact with others who share my love of everything Sash. The world has so much negativity, and I love that our group is all about having fun and enjoying life. Community at home, means my family getting together and having fun too. Spending time playing games, having great meals like raclette, and telling (and re-telling) stories from past adventures. 3. What is your biggest pet peeve? Getting old, it sucks, lol. 4. What is something you want the Sash Community to know about you? I love my family: I’m married to a Quebecer, I have two grown children - who are good people, I have twin 4 yr old granddaughters - who are a blessing, and I have my puppy, Cookie. I also love helping people, always have. I was always helping everyone in the Community & BST groups, way before I started working here. 5. What are you most excited about and why? I always get excited when Special Orders start to come in and when we do a new one (yay Ikats!!)! So the next few weeks are going to be SUPER exciting!! Especially with all of the new products coming this summer… like Nylon and Denim Half Sash Bags!! In my personal life, my husband has a project he is working on and I am excited for him and what the future holds for us. ❤️
