What an incredible day it was celebrating the LGBTQ+ community at the New York City Pride March!
Every day and every month:
We will keep marching and keep working to fight for true equality and for the rights of LGBTQ+ Americans.
Today, I was so proud to announce the Buffalo-Rochester-Syracuse Tech Hub has won a $40M award from my CHIPS & Science Law to power Upstate NY as America’s semiconductor superhighway.
And I was so honored to celebrate with leaders from Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse!
“Because our constitution does not shield a former President from answering for criminal and treasonous acts, I dissent”
Faithful to our Founding Fathers’ ideals—this is from Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson’s blistering dissent from this MAGA SCOTUS’s undemocratic ruling:
This is a sad day for America and a sad day for our democracy.
The very basis of our judicial system is that no one is above the law.
Treason or incitement of an insurrection should not be considered a core constitutional power afforded to a president.
This disgraceful decision by the MAGA Supreme Court—which is comprised of three justices appointed by Mr. Trump himself—enables the former President to weaken our democracy by breaking the law.
This decision undermines the credibility of the Supreme Court, and suggests that political influence trumps all in our courts today.
Happy Pride!
I'm thrilled to march in #NYCPride to celebrate LGBTQ+ New Yorkers, and the LGBTQ+ community across America.
We will keep marching for true equality.
55 years ago—brave Americans at the Stonewall Inn rose up and made their voices heard in a landmark moment in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights.
We celebrate them.
We celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in NY, across America, and around the world.
We continue the fight for LGBTQ+ rights.
National HIV/AIDS Testing Day is a day dedicated to raising awareness and rejecting the stigma of HIV/AIDS.
With this year’s theme to “level up your self-love: check your status,”
This #HIVTestingDay is a great day to get tested to fight to #StopHIVTogether .
The MAGA Supreme Court destabilized our country by overturning Roe two years ago, and sent women and healthcare providers spiraling into uncertainty.
My statement on the Supreme Court decision on emergency abortion care:
The pardons by President Biden are another step in America’s challenging but inexorable march towards greater equality.
These actions correct a historic wrong for LGBTQ+ Americans who served bravely in our armed forces to keep our country safe.
