We are LOVE on a MISSION!!💜
It takes many hearts and hands to fulfill our mission🦋 We are putting out a call to our community as we are in dire need of volunteers!🙏🏽
Opportunities to get involved:
•This Sunday, August 13 from 10am -3pm we are having a packing and sorting event at Sharia’s Closet, 6244 El Cajon Blvd, Ste. 5, San Diego 92115. The demand is high for our services and we aren’t able to process the many orders for our friends in need with just our small team. We need community support!
• If you would like to volunteer on an ongoing basis please hit the link in our bio to sign up. Through our volunteer platform you can schedule yourself to volunteer on the days/times that work best for you.
THANK YOU!
We'd like to give a shout-out to the San Marcos Community Foundation Fund of the Jewish Community Foundation of San Diego for their donation of $1,750. 🤗 We appreciate your support in helping us advance our mission of providing emergency clothing with dignity and respect to our San Diego community 💜🦋
We are working towards a world where each human being doesn't endure any more torture. We are in solidarity with victims of torture and are here to support them. 💜🦋

Thank you to Stefanie, Layla, and her sister for coming in to volunteer with us. 🥰 These ladies helped us process the donations that were dropped off by the City of San Diego 💜🦋
The Team Connection (TC) Crew, a committee of the City of San Diego’s Environmental Services Department, held a Spring Clothing Drive this April, with all donations proudly benefiting Sharia’s Closet. 🛍🥰
The TC Crew strives to lead by example, working to reduce waste and support the local community through the power of recycling and reusing. 🥳🙌🏽
“With a vision to unite our extensive department and reinforce our core values, we organized a department-wide collection of gently used clothing and shoes, giving these items a second life and keeping them out of landfills,” said TC Crew member Jenny Gonzalez. “Our efforts aligned perfectly with our environmental goals: by diverting clothing from waste streams, we reduced environmental impacts, saved valuable resources, and fostered a culture of conscious consumerism and waste reduction within our ranks.”
THANK YOU! We appreciate the support 💜🦋
We are so thankful for the recent $3,000 donation we received from the Seacove Fund of the Jewish Community Foundation 💜🦋 With their support we can continue to provide our Bags of Hope 🛍
We are so thankful to Hands on San Diego for their recent drop off of 15 cartons of hygiene kits! 🛍🧴🪥💜🦋
