6 months ago on a solar eclipse Scott and I got married. It’s nearly impossible to capture the FEELING of a weekend—it felt like a dream. In Scott’s words, he’s never experienced genuine nostalgia and wanting to go back to a time in his life like this before. This was just one weekend—and it certainly was one of the greatest weekends of our lives—but it illuminates how deep our relationships are. With each other, with our families, with our in-laws, with our friends, siblings, and cousins. A wedding is perhaps one of the only times in your life that you can physically gather everyone you cherish in life in a single space. We managed to make that opportunity magical, costumed, and celestial. What a gift this life is.
