This week, @repdarishaparker and @rephillevans ’s HB 851 passed the PA House with overwhelming bipartisan support. 🏛️ We’ve been championing this cause tirelessly because we believe every student should have access to menstrual hygiene products allowing them to have a Carefree School Day. Period. Did you know that 1 in 5 students in the United States and 1 in 10 Globally miss school because of the lack of access to period products? It’s a shocking reality that I’m committed to bringing awareness and resources to, as the next Mrs. International. When girls lack access to basic hygiene supplies, they resort to unsafe alternatives, putting their health at risk. Our students deserve better, and HB 851 is a crucial step in the right direction. 💪🏾 Next stop: the Senate!
