*Body positivity post*
I try my best to promote all forms of positivity, so I don't usually make specific posts like this. I feel like some things need addressed though. I have been getting comments saying things like "You shouldn't be wearing that" or "You're not even a gymnast, stop wearing leos" or "Put actual clothes on, you're too fat for that" I am not fat, but even if I was it still isn't okay to comment on someone's weight/body type. You don't know what somebody is going through, what if you said something like that and put them over the edge? I have never talked about this, but I use to have A LOT of issues with my body image. All of these problems started from comments that my coach, somebody that I was supposed to look up to, made about my body. I was 10 years old and constantly sucking my stomach in wishing that I was "skinny". I have now learned that I'm not supposed to be "skinny", thats not how my body was made. Most of the time my body looks like the first picture, but it can also look like the second and third pictures. Sometimes I still have issues with my body image, something that helps me feel more confident is looking at
@spencer.barbosa 's account, she focuses her whole account on body positivity and encouraging people to be who they want to be, not who others want them to be. I am not fat, but I am also not skinny. I am the way that I was meant to be.
Comment something that you love about your body, little or small. And say why you love it. I'll start (pinned comment)
