Two years of smears 🌈✌️ Smearcrush was meant to be a temporary creative outlet; a quick pandemic fix on my way back to the corporate world. These past two years have made me realize that some career paths find you in the most surprising ways. Thanks for going on my journey with me 💖

One year, Smearcrushed 🌈✨ My first post was one year ago today! I was TERRIFIED. I hadn’t played with products in over a year, having left my Art Director role at @sephora after giving birth at the start of the pandemic. It had been even longer since I had picked up a ‘real’ camera, and the idea of posting daily was overwhelming. Smearcrush made me engage, react, and create within the beauty community- I am so grateful it did! I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in beauty, reconnect with colleagues, and get to know incredible new brands- all while continuing to grow creatively. Once I started shooting video content, it quickly (and surprisingly!) became an all-consuming passion. I feel truly humbled for the love and support I’ve received this past year. I never imagined that Smearcrush could become such a special part of my life.
