Employees from our Graham County office in Southern Arizona volunteered to clean up 300 feet of road gutter and right-of-way in the area. They filled a 5-yard dump truck and a dump trailer with trash and debris that was a potential fire hazard and improved the environment for residents living in the area. Local community members from the #SanCarlosApacheIndianReservation expressed their gratitude for our volunteers’ efforts. Volunteers in our Southern Arizona Division helped clean up the @cobre_valley_arts_globe_az Cobre Valley Center for the Arts, removing 1.5 tons of debris from the interior and exterior of the facility. In the rural districts we serve, there are only a few companies that can provide resources of both people and funds, so the impact of Southwest Gas’ engagement is magnified considerably. Several of our employees personally support and even participate in some of the Center for the Arts productions, so they were especially grateful that we could organize this opportunity.
We proudly hosted the @same_national - Southern Arizona Post at our Liquefied Natural Gas facility in Tucson, Ariz. In addition to a tour of the facility, members of the organization, which includes many SAME members from neighboring @davismonthan_afb , learned more about our commitment to providing customers with low-carbon energy solutions to advance their energy needs and sustainability goals efforts.
