It’s been a rough couple of days. Yesterday, we found out our dog Arrow has days or weeks to live due to an aggressive tumor on his spleen. This was a complete shock.
I don’t know how to put into words what my dog Arrow has meant to me. He saved my life. He was found hit by a car when he was a puppy and suffered a broken rib and leg. Despite this he bounced back, and was the most playful and energetic dog. He came to me when I was in some of the darkest times of my life, and he is a total and complete empath. It felt like fate. He hugs people when they are sad, hates when people argue, loves to be spooned and is currently licking my tears away.
He went everywhere with me. Including some tours, recording our first record in Denver, helping build out
@temple_of_the_trees_studio , our favorite bar
@hazlewoodbar , a road trip across the country, hikes, and sneaking him into the
@kexp gathering space to have a work buddy.
Thank you to our friend
@troynelllson and
@kexp for playing our song as we prepare to say goodbye to him. So thankful to our friends and community. I know he’s just a dog, but he had a profound impact on my life that I will never forget.
Cheers to the best boy that ever lived ❤️❤️❤️
