As a wife, mother and Registered Nurse, my platform Empowering Health Advocates is so much more than a platform, to me it is a way of life. Whether I am advocating for fellow Endo Warriors to get a diagnosis sooner, assisting patients to elect the best end of life care as a Regional Director of Clinical Operations for one of the largest hospice agencies in the country, my life’s mission to help others advocate for their health and the health of their loved ones. ⭐️Countdown to the crown👑..#mywhy /My platform. 5 years and 8 physicians: that’s what it took for me to receive my Stage IV Endometriosis diagnosis. Had I not advocated for myself, the outcome could’ve been more severe. ⭐️My platform, Empowering Health Advocates, emphasizes the value of patient advocacy and the importance of using our voice to advocate for our well-being (in order to enhance our overall quality of life. ⭐️As. Mrs. International, I’ll continue to use my experiences and resources, empower women to (proactively) advocate for THEIR health and the health of others in order to cultivate a culture of “empowered health advocates” around the world!. #endowarrior #mrsint2024 #intlpageants #2024intlcountdown #nursesofinstagram #nursesinspirenurses

Countdown to the Crown👑.How I met my husband. It was during my last surgery rotation as a travel nurse that I met Brett who was working at the hospital. After being in a total hip replacement surgical case, Brett asked me out for coffee and the rest was history. On June 29th, it will mark our eleven year anniversary and what an amazing whirlwind it has been. He has been right by my side through infertility struggles after multiple misdiagnosis with stage iv endometriosis, pageantry, and the birth of our precious Brea. Our journey to having Brea led me to compete for Mrs International. I am so thankful for the love and support that we have for each other and for Brett being my number one supporter. He is forever my Mr Great Lakes International 2024. ❤️#mrsintl2024 #2024intlcountdown #intlpageants

Day 3 countdown to the 👑#meetmyfamily . I don’t know where I would be without the support and love of my family. Having lost my father and grandmother last year has been difficult, but we stay strong knowing in July they will be on that stage with me every step of the way to the Mrs International crown. Losing them has given me more ammunition to empower women to advocate for their health and the health of their families. #mrsintl2024 #intlpageants #2024intlcountdown

In 2002 I graduated from college and became a Registered Nurse. In that same year, I started my platform after finally being diagnosed with Stage IV Endometriosis. Not only am I living with this daily, but I am also helping others just like me advocate for their health. Not only as a survivor, but as a healthcare professional. As Mrs International, I will not only represent every woman who has struggled with an illness but I will represent my profession as a Registered Nurse. Nurse’s Prayer: Almighty God, Divine Healer of all men, give me strength and courage in my profession. Grant my heart compassion and love. Grant my hands skill and tenderness. Grant my care knowledge and wisdom. Amen.
