It’s been awhile since I’ve shown my face! I figured it was time for a new introduction post. I was born and raised in the great city of Chicago. Aside from a 4 year stint in Madison, WI (GO BADGERS), I’ve lived here most of my life. I currently live in Ukrainian Village. I love doing color. I specifically enjoy doing dimensional color and also doing hair extensions. More importantly, I love seeing clients leave the salon with more confidence after getting their hair done ❤️. On my downtime, you can usually find me at home mixing cocktails, doing yarn crafts and playing video games. I also like to go out to cocktail bars and try new restaurants. My favorite part of my job as a hairstylist is being able to interact with people that I wouldn’t normally get to interact with and being an integral part of someone’s life! . . Our water in Chicago is very hard and contains minerals that can discolor your hair. Installing a filter or a filtered shower head will do wonders for your hair & skin. 2. STOP overusing purple/blue shampoo. Purple and blue shampoos can build up on the hair when overused and will make the hair look darker and more dull. 3. GLOSS it up. If it’s been awhile since you’ve gotten your color done, come in for a gloss! This color reminds me of an espresso martini 🍸. We use a demi-permanent color on this client every 6-8 weeks to help blend her grays. I recommend this service to any of my clients that are just starting to get grays, as it will give your grays just enough color so they blend in with your natural color 🤎🤍. We add highlights to this client’s color every so often to add some dimension.
