Magic dump 🥹 Here are 9 things the last 2 month adventure has taught me :
1. ALWAYS take the risk. When you hear the whispers from the universe just act on it
2. Being authentic makes you magnetic AF for your desires & relationships
3. Sambas are not great for your feet but god they are cute
4. Just one class can lead to extraordinary things
5.I get why NY is expensive - because a walk turns into 2 coffees, a champagne, an aperol & 2 new tops
6. You’re body is capable of way more than you give it credit for
7. Accomplishments are fleeting but finding safety within is everlasting fulfillment
8. I’m proud AF to have created a business that allowed me to live my best life in my dream city
9. NYC is where I am meant to be ✨

Swipe through 🥺… I’ve always known the day would come that I shared my story publicly. A story that some have known & many have no idea at all that I was “that girl” especially in La but it has immensely shaped the woman I am and the way I show up in this world. I feel my platform is a privilege & is something that should be used to cause ripples, to cause change & to inspire people to lead their most powerful lives no matter what life throws them. I knew this would be the year but I didn’t know how or when but it turns out a tiktok trend opened a crack and the response became bigger than I ever imagined. I’m speaking not just for me; but for all of us, the victims that came forward & the ones who didn’t. So the time is here & the time is now.
From the age of 9 to 15 I was groomed & a victim of SA from a former dance teacher. My childhood studio- my world at the time.
I came forward to my parents, was not believed by most & the court case fell through without any further questions.I lost everything at 15 and felt like I lived a double life attending school like normal with my world crumbling in the background. 6 years later he was finally arrested - numbers had tripled to 64 counts & when I was 24 I stood in the room as he was sentenced to 24 years behind bars.
My story is long winding, uncomfortable, heart wrenching and has many moving parts to it but within it are endless lessons for the protection of children and the abuse of power within our dance industry & community. For Australia this rocked the world & there is so much in my heart to share & lead. It has overwhelmed me with the response to it this week but the 15 year old me has never felt so loved.
This feels insanely scary & overwhelming for me - as a taboo topic I was told to keep quiet as it would “ruin” my career- but I can now see if anything it should amplify it. People should feel truly blessed to work with a woman who has walked this path & still stands living out her biggest dreams & helping others heal. My 15 year old self would be obsessed that I never gave up & my career is a big f you to the perpetrator.
