currently in 1st place for being my favorite room of the house makeover. I have more things in the works: beautiful custom glowing side tables by @wellandloves , a rug (once I make the final decision!!), and I bought new lighting to match the relaxing forest theme but I’m not sure if I want to install it. I personally love the mirror orb and that’s all that matters at the end of the day.
The most stunning project I’ve ever been able to work on. This entire house was a labor of love but this photo shows the giant tulip mural on the back of the house where I got to work with my friend @_basilcartoons_ she’s a muralist and came up from LA to make the client’s dream a reality!
All of my favorite home hacks I did this year. I had too many to choose from so these are all renter-friendly ones (if it’s not renter-friendly for your specific situation then just don’t do it). These range from really simple projects, upcycling furniture, to more skill intensive things. The first thing I would do when I moved into an old building would be to switch out the old shower head with a nice rainfall one but this was my first time switching a faucet. Just keep your old fixtures and switch them back when you move out, and if you don’t trust yourself to switch the fixtures hire a plumber! Always know your own limits
Now the pasta bag isn’t so lonely 🍝 one of Andrew’s best friend’s from college @nikbentelstudio is a crazy talented designer and these are all made by him!!!! he sent us the best delivery because now we added the Manila folder wallet, pastry box, and orb bag to the Nik collection ✨
Not only is he one of the sweetest humans we know but he has the most imaginative brain possible. I highly suggest looking at everything else he comes up with 🥹❤️
Backyard project: finally got to experience power washing!!
Power washing is pretty accessible for people because you can just rent the machine by the hour from a hardware store like @homedepot or @loweshomeimprovement

$6 of gravel made it look like a new pathway I couldn’t believe the before and after, and under 30 minutes! You can buy these almost anywhere like your local hardware store or the big department stores. Always best practice to support local when you can
The plant deliver is not $6 😂 I was just talking about the pathway because I’m so stoked on the difference it made

The squiggle rings are live! @takeshape_studio and I worked on these for the last 6+ months and I can finally release them to the world. I’ve been wearing mine daily in the green apple quartz stone 💚
all of my proceeds are going to charity, so this project has been very wholesome from start to end by getting to work so closely with Sophie who’s a local small business owner in the Bay Area. She showed me the entire process of how she makes her jewelry and it’s been a great learning experience as well.
The stones are quartz and a moonstone, they’re all sterling silver but Sophie can make a custom piece out of a specified metal if you just talk to her! These are selling for $148 on the @takeshape_studio website, and I’ll add the link to my linktree and story as well! 💎

They’ll only be on sale until they run out and this is slow fashion made-to-order for your custom size and stone request! Sophie from Take Shape Studio has been such a dream to collaborate with and I was able to learn about the finishing process that happens after the design works ends.

The grass sod that’s going in is native California Delta Bluegrass! @jsgardendesign is the landscape designer from @sloatgardens that suggested this- it requires NO MOWING and because it’s native grass it requires less water 💦 I’m learning a lot about how to make this backyard more sustainable and good for the specific climate, I can’t wait to lay on it all summer ☀️
Newest big project alert 🚨 I’ve been working on designing this with @takeshape_studio for so long, there a lot of steps to the process that I’ve been able to learn about and it’s been so interesting and fun working with Sophie to get to see the whole process from beginning to end.
There will be a few of these for sale on her website starting Friday, where all of my proceeds are going to charity- if you aren’t interested I ring but would still like to donate as well I’ll have a link to the rotating list of fundraisers that we’ll split into evenly so we can benefit people directly ❤️
