NEVER BEFORE SEEN (from me lol) up close twist out & hanging bantu knot routine 🫶🏽
This is for all of my babes that have DM’d me and commented over the years asking for my twist out routine in general or how I do the hanging bantu knots—which helps add a bit of a curl to the ends instead of them just being straight! I did NOT come up with the technique but one of you guys recommended it to me maybe 5-6 years ago and I’ve been doing it ever since lol ☺️
I also wanted to do a ‘real time’ look at my twist out routine… it’s a bit slower than I usually do each twist just so I could show the technique and there’s a few cuts here and there for video length purposes BUT it’s as close to real time as I could get! I hope this helps you no matter what your skill level is ❤️

#DovePartner hydration routine after my protective style 🫶🏽
After having knotless braids, I wanted to IMMEDIATELY jump back into moisturizing my hair, and that includes my scalp! wow taking down knotless braids is an ALL DAY THING
It legit took the same amount of time getting them done as it was to take them out lol 😫 BUT I’m glad I was able to get caught up on my shows lol. After I took down each braid I sprayed my root with a mixture of conditioner and water and finger detangled to break up the gel/product so it wouldn’t knot up when shampooing/conditioning.. I was SO glad I did that because in the past I didn’t and it wouldn’t be really hard to detangle after wetting my hair!

Full circle moment 🥹🫶🏽 Desenio decorated my first apartment in MEM with the art pieces that I had throughout my place! And I still have a few in my current apartment, like the art piece in the background of my makeup routine!!
