Katie set out with the audacious plan to compete in every state show (except Perth), and she did exactly that, winning her height classes and the overall titles in every show except Sydney. In fact, she outshone everyone she stood next to, with the exception of the quite spectacular overall national champion
@melfletcher__ .
Katie is quite the walking contradiction. She is equal parts graceful and goofy; her physique is petite and delicate, yet she’s as hardcore as they come. She’s super serious and hilarious all at once, and I must say, coaching her is a hell of a lot of fun as a result.
Her stage presence is nothing short of legendary, and she was rewarded with the Best Poser award at Nationals this year in recognition of the fact that she owns every stage she walks on.
Thank you, Katie, for a memorable and incredibly successful season. I have no doubt that the next time you grace the stage, you’ll be even better because I’m sure you will settle for nothing less.
