I should probably use this opportunity to share a bit more about myself. I started this company in honor of my dad, who passed in a car accident on 10/30. Decades later, my wife and I chose to honor his memory by getting married on the same date. So, TENTHIRTY is a sort of mantra for me now; a reminder that we can always choose joy and love in any situation or circumstance. It’s become part of this company’s DNA, to help my clients remember all of their special people, and to preserve their legacy forever, on film.
What a weekend…
If you were anywhere in the Midwest this week, you know winter came out swinging. That wasn’t enough to dampen the spirits of Andrea & Dennis, and their amazing family and friends.
From Friday’s incredibly intimate rehearsal dinner at @cafecortina to the amazing wedding day which started at @daxtonmi then @lifepoint_cc and finally at the one and only @planterraconservatory we had locations to match the incredible people who this incredible story is all about.

ANNIE x MATT | 06.07.2024 | San Morello Rehearsal Dinner
Before I start sharing the stunning footage from @annie_stenback and @matwjohn gorgeous DIA wedding, I need to share what in some ways was my favorite part of the weekend. I love filming rehearsal dinners. I love intimate settings with the inner circle. It gives me a chance to really get to know the couple, their family, and their closest friends. When the wedding day comes, it’s like we already know each other. Because we do!
I had one of the best weekends of my career as a filmmaker working for these families, and my heart is still full from the experience over a week later.

Sneak peeks from Brooke & Steven’s beautiful Henry Ford wedding last weekend!
We started the day off at Brooke and Steven’s house for prep, followed by a horse drawn carriage ride through Greenfield Village to Cotswold Cottage, and returned to Lovett Hall for their ceremony and reception.
A fun fact about this one: I’ve known the family since I was a kid, and even attended Brooke’s parents wedding when I was just a wee lad. It was fun seeing some familiar faces at this one, and an honor to be trusted with Brooke and Steven’s story.
Part I: Alexa x Dominic | 06.01.2024
I started my day at @graduatehotels in downtown Ann Arbor, meeting with Alexa and the gals in their beautiful suite. It was a calm and positive vibe from the moment I walked in, and that would never change.
I was touched by the tenderness of their love, of Dominic’s utter awe of his wife, and Alexa’s poise and quiet confidence.
You don’t see too many high school sweethearts these days, but on this day, in front of friends and family, under a tree much older than them, they gave themselves to each other forever.
You’re named after my first dad, John. You never got a chance to meet him, and I’ve few memories of him myself, but I’m told he was gentle and kind, with a contagious laugh and a personality that made everyone feel welcome and safe. Seems you’re a John indeed.
Today you turn five years old, and your mom and I—and your grandparents, teachers, and beyond—are so proud of you.
You don’t say much (yet), but you make up for it in personality. If I could only choose to hear one thing for the rest of my life, it’d be your mischievous giggle. If I could be anywhere, with anyone, I’d choose our home, with you and mom and Ellie (and Noodle and Kiki). You are loved cosmically, and there is nothing in the universe that could change that.
My son. My goof. My Bubba. My sweet boy. We love you so much. You’re a big kid now. Happy birthday.
Now let’s party 🥳

What an amazing day. Melissa and Cameron’s wedding was beautiful from start to finish, and even bookended by two nights of northern lights!
I know every wedding can’t be like this, but spending so much time with @melschreib and Cam in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and filming the creation of her dresses (yes, plural) with her sister @sarahkolisdesigns in the months leading up to the wedding made it such a special day.
It also gave me the opportunity to work with many of the incredible vendors before the wedding day too. By the time May 11th arrived, we’d become a tight knit team working like a clock for the kindest couple and families you could ever hope to work with.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, both from the wedding day and the entire production that preceded it. Much more to come folks 😎
